If you have one of those rare budget or value AM3 socket mobo's that
only has a TDP max of 65w, your options become fairly limited. The
decision came down to a slower triple or quad core of 65w TDP or this
one. For $70, the price to performance ratio, I went with this one.
Windows Experience Index yields a processor subscore of 6.6 for this
processor. Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, this system seems to
handle Hot Pursuit 2, Fallout New Vegas, Mass Effect 2, and Crysis
pretty smoothly. It only seems to show it's limitations on COD: Black
Ops. Video processing sped up a lot over my old Dual-core using
convert-x to dvd for transcoding and also seems to have a lot less
errors. Overall, I'm pretty impressed with it and have yet to have any
complaints............
